2026-10-06 — Leaderboard time zones
GET/leaderboard now accepts an optional timezone query parameter (an IANA time zone name, e.g. America/New_York). Timeframes are computed in that zone, and custom start_date/end_date are read as dates in that zone. The default is still America/Los_Angeles, so existing integrations are unaffected. Responses now include a timezone field showing the zone that was used.
2026-08-26 — Public API opened
The HeyTaco API is now generally available. Kicking things off with GET/leaderboard — reads a team's leaderboard by taco totals for a given timeframe.
